Local Borough Associations
Local Borough Associations, or ALA’s (Association locale d’arrondissement), act as the first point of contact between the party and its members, as well the first instance where members can participate in the life of the party. ALA activities are organized by a local board, the latter for which members are elected by borough party members in an annual general assembly.
The Board of Directors is the first level of decision making for the party. Its members oversee administration of party affaires, implementation of decisions made by members during proceedings and adherence to the party’s governing rules on behalf of employees, officials and activists. Local Borough Association’s (ALA’s) are represented by the board.
Projet Montréal relies on a dedicated team of permanent employees who take charge of activities, organize day-to-day management of the party and fulfill services for members.
