
Émilie Thuillier was elected city councillor in Ahuntsic with Projet Montréal in November 2009. Ms Thuillier is a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation de développement économique et communautaire (CDEC) in Ahuntsic-Cartierville.
She’s also vice-chair of the executive committee for the City of Montreal and is responsible for social and community development, family, seniors, youth and the status of women.
Since 2003, Émilie Thuillier has worked on issues of sustainable development in urban environments. During the four years prior to her election, Ms Thuillier was specialized in municipal affairs as political attaché to Richard Bergeron, leader of Projet Montréal and city councillor
Ms Thuillier has a Masters’ Degree in Environmental Sciences (UQAM) as well as an Bachelors’ Degree in Geography (Université de Montréal).
Ms Thuillier is the mother of a young boy.
