François Croteau has a bachelor’s degree in history, art history and sociology from l’Université de Montréal. After having been a manager in the private and public sectors for several years, he then undertook an Executive MBA at l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) following which, and in pursuit of deeper knowledge in urban planning, he completed his Ph.D. in urban studies in the School of Management of UQAM, under the direction of Pierre Delorme. His thesis covered municipal governance.
Enamoured by this city, François Croteau pursues an interest in planning and management of urban spaces with an emphasis on social responsibility and sustainable development. As such, the Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie borough constitutes the ideal grounds for his creation of new initiatives.
