Henri-Robert Durandisse, a social entrepreneur, is entering municipal politics because he wishes to better serve the citizens. He holds a graduate degree in Community Economic Development and a Certification in Leadership and Management Skills from Concordia University. Henri-Robert Durandisse is a responsible and committed citizen with over thirty years of social involvement. Since 1992, he has been the director of CHAIS Ressource-Famille, an organization focused on the education and integration of immigrants. As a school commissioner from 2014 to 2020, he contributed to the implementation of an adult education centre in the Rivière-des-Prairies district. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Centre de Services Scolaires de la Pointe-de-l'Île.
Henri-Robert has been a proud resident of Rivière-des-Prairies for over 25 years. As a poet, he has authored several publications and produced several shows. Combining reflection with action, he hosts two programs on Radio Centre-Ville in Montreal. In addition, Henri-Robert sits on several Boards of Directors. Two of those positions he takes great pride in is his position as the President of the Board of Directors of La Maison d'Haïti from 1999 to 2009 and a Member of the Board of Directors of Équipe RDP. He is vice-president of Radio Centre-Ville and of CACOH in Rivière-des-Prairies. He has been associated with the creation of several community organizations. All of his involvements have allowed him to accompany, help and serve the public.
Passionate about education and humanity, Henri-Robert Durandisse holds in his heart basic fundamental values such as social justice, integrity, human dignity and self-determination. He defines himself as a grassroots activist, available to listen to the needs of the population and to defend the interests of local residents. His work has been applauded and honoured on many occasions. In 2021, he was one of the 12 Laureates of Black History Month for his contribution to the Black community in Quebec.
Today, Henri-Robert is entering municipal politics to become a city councillor in the Rivière-des-Prairies district. He still wants to be part of the solution and influence the future. He is convinced that his roots in Rivière-des-Prairies and his extensive experience in the field, combined with his expertise, give him the necessary tools to tackle the issues of the Rivière-des-Prairies district. Henri-Robert will contribute to building a neighbourhood and a borough that he hopes will be even more inclusive, supportive and safe. He is working to ensure that everyone finds their place in the City of Montreal, a beautiful place to live.

Lisa Christensen was a pioneer for Projet Montréal in the borough when she was elected councillor in Pointe-aux-Prairies in 2017. She was joined by Caroline Bourgeois as mayor in a 2018 by-election. Together, they have made tremendous positive changes for the quality of life in the borough.
With a desire to continue and accelerate their excellent work, Projet Montréal presents a strong, community-based team rooted in each of the districts: Henri-Robert Durandisse and Joseph Paglia in Rivière-des-Prairies, Daphney Colin and Lisa Christensen in Pointe-aux-Prairies, Marie-Claude Baril and Virginie Journeau in Pointe-aux-Trembles.
Making living environments safer, continuing efforts to add vegetation and protect green spaces, and developing mobility hubs are the priorities for the years to come.
