Passionate, dynamic and persevering. In Montréal or abroad, Julie has always wanted to have a positive impact on people's lives, the community and the environment. She is a person of action and constantly looking for solutions, just like Projet Montréal and the people of Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (MHM).
In addition to a master's degree in international administration from ENAP and a bachelor's degree in international management from HEC Montréal, Julie has led several projects in the Montréal community. She’s also been involved in various boards of directors, including the Caisse populaire Desjardins d'Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and the Corporation d'animation des places publiques (CAPP).
With Y'a QuelQu'un l'aut'bord du mur, she has shared her passion for active transportation to a number of students and has worked to make the areas around MHM schools safer through travel plans. In her daily life, Julie favours active transportation all year round. As a community relations officer at Moisson Montréal, she has worked in partnership with more than 250 organizations in order to support them and help them implement solutions to improve their actions.
Julie demonstrates great versatility, team spirit and mobilization within the departmental coordination of the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration.
As a candidate in 2017, she joined Projet Montréal to continue the work already well initiated by the team of MHM and the city. She also wishes to build a more human city where the environment and mobility are placed at the heart of priorities. As Councillor for Louis-Riel, Julie wants to offer sustainable, inspiring and peaceful living environments that respond to the concerns of citizens!
