Today, I have the great privilege of being part of this political family as a city councillor and member of the executive committee. Guided by our party's values of fairness and diversity, I have succeeded in resolving complex issues such as the nightlife policy, the reform of support for festivals and the handling of sensitive heritage issues.
I'm proud of the work Projet Montréal has accomplished so far, and it's with the desire to galvanize our movement that I'm submitting my candidacy to become leader of our party. I'm convinced that I'm the right voice to lead us once again at the helm of the City of Montreal.
Our party is at a turning point in its history. The political climate calls on us to win back the hearts of Montrealers, one person at a time, from one end of the city to the other. Our bold vision of housing, mobility and the ecological transition must continue, and even intensify. Above all, it must be at the service of territorial equity and social diversity, and be deployed for everyone regardless of origin, status or place of residence.
We have what it takes to create a city where everyone can realize their aspirations with dignity and solidarity.
Being leader of Projet Montréal requires the determination, energy and enthusiasm to go out and meet people. It also requires the courage to make decisions for the collective, while valuing the assets and involvement of our members and elected representatives. These are precisely my strengths, and they are definitely my commitment to returning Projet Montréal to power.
Together, let's make Projet Montréal the party of as many Montrealers as possible. We owe it to ourselves and to future generations.
