Projet Montréal leader Luc Rabouin today announced Joseph Paglia's candidacy for city councilor in the Rivières-des-Prairies district. He will join the Projet Montréal team for the Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles borough, under the leadership of Caroline Bourgeois. The team also includes Virginie Journeau, Marie-Claude Baril, Daphney Colin, and Lisa Christensen.



Biography – Joseph Paglia



Joseph Paglia is an engaged citizen of Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles, where he has lived with his family for over 12 years. A father of two, he has been actively involved in his neighborhood, whether as a member of his children's elementary school board, a sports coach, or the founder of citizen initiatives. As co-founder of the REM-RDP Coalition and the community page “RDP Neighborhood Watch,” he has played a key role in mobilizing for better public transit services and defending local environmental issues. Recognized for his ability to bring people together and give residents a strong voice, he now wishes to continue his political engagement in order to build a more sustainable, supportive, and people-centered borough.
