Projet Montréal is first and foremost a party of activists who have been working for some twenty years to make Montréal a greener, more inclusive and fairer city. Through the strength of their ideas, members help define the ideas and promote the achievements and ambitions of Projet Montréal.Would you like to help transform our city? The best way is to contact your local association.
Our local associations
Projet Montréal has set up local borough association councils (CoALA) in most boroughs. These councils, made up of 5 to 10 Projet Montréal members, are elected annually at the general meeting of each local association.
CoALAs are tasked with promoting Projet Montréal in their boroughs by organizing events and mobilization activities alongside their local elected representatives.
Would you like to join a CoALA?
You can apply to join a CoALA at your local association's annual general meeting. If the annual general meeting period has already passed, you can also contact your local coordinator to join your local body.
We also invite you to follow the activities organized by your CoALA to participate in Projet Montréal's activities in your borough. Visit the events page of our website regularly or subscribe to your ALA's Facebook page.

Your borough doesn't seem to have a CoALA? Only local associations with more than 20 members can set up a CoALA. Write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can get involved in your borough, or visit our page to learn more about how to get involved with Projet Montréal.
