The leader of Projet Montréal, Luc Rabouin, unveiled his team for the borough of L'Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève today. Led by Danielle Myrand, who will be running for borough mayor, the team will also include Guillaume Côté in the Jacques Bizard district, Stéphane Ritchot in the Pierre Fortier district, Caroline Arslanian in the Sainte-Geneviève district and Alain Wilson in the Denis Benjamin Viger district. Initially elected with Ensemble Montréal in 2021, Mr. Wilson chose to join Projet Montréal to continue his municipal involvement with a team that fully shares his vision of protecting local autonomy, quality of life, and green spaces.
Biography – Alain Wilson
Alain Wilson has been a borough councilor since 2021 and a key player in the sports and community scene in L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève for over 40 years. An entrepreneur and builder of local organizations, he has contributed to the creation and management of several sports associations, including the Minor Hockey Association and the Île-Bizard Soccer Association, in addition to holding key positions at the regional and provincial levels. Deeply rooted in his community, he wishes to continue to put his experience and leadership at the service of residents to improve the quality of life and strengthen social cohesion in the borough.
Biography – Guillaume Côté
Guillaume Côté has been a residential real estate broker since 2017 and lives in L’Île-Bizard, where he has deep roots. An entrepreneur by training and former sales manager in the construction industry, he has solid experience in management and business development. Known for his teamwork and commitment, he has also been involved in his community as a soccer coach for five years and a volunteer with the Scouts for two years. Motivated by the desire to put his expertise and energy at the service of his fellow citizens, Guillaume wants to help build a more united, dynamic, and people-oriented borough.
Biography—Stéphane Ritchot
Stéphane Ritchot has over 20 years of management and leadership experience in major Quebec companies. His professional career, marked by perseverance and innovation, has taken him from his early days as a clerk to managing multidisciplinary teams, where he has distinguished himself through his human and empathetic approach. At the same time, he has been actively involved in municipal politics, notably as a campaign manager and political attaché, in addition to sitting on several boards of directors of local associations. Married for 27 years and the father of two daughters, he is deeply committed to the values of family, solidarity, and community. Today, he wishes to put his experience and leadership skills to work for the residents of Pierre-Fortier, in order to build a more united, inclusive, and people-oriented borough.
Biography – Caroline Arslanian
Caroline Arslanian is a citizen deeply rooted in L’Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève, where she grew up and has been involved in community life since her teenage years. A polyglot who speaks six languages, she has dedicated her career to promoting intercultural dialogue and citizen participation. Active for over 15 years in municipal, provincial, and federal politics, she has solid experience in the field and a keen understanding of local realities. Deeply involved in heritage preservation, community life, and citizen mobilization, Caroline is known for her creativity, her ability to listen, and her talent for building bridges between communities. Driven by a desire to preserve and promote Sainte-Geneviève, she wants to help improve residents' quality of life by focusing on safe, vibrant, and inclusive neighborhoods.
