With less than 48 hours to go before the election campaign begins, Luc Rabouin completes his team and unveils his campaign slogan

Montreal, September 17, 2025 – With less than 48 hours to go before the municipal election campaign begins, Projet Montréal leader Luc Rabouin announces the final candidate for his political party. Élise Tanguay will be running for city councilor in the Saint-Paul–Émard–Saint-Henri-Ouest district in the Sud-Ouest borough. With this nomination, Projet Montréal completes its team of 103 candidates for the November 2 municipal elections in Montreal.

This is a first in Montreal municipal politics: never before has a party presented a complete team before the official start of the election campaign. This situation demonstrates the appeal of Projet Montréal to high-quality candidates who want to commit themselves to transforming their city. This exceptional mobilization confirms the credibility of the political party and its ability to attract people who are motivated to make a difference in Montreal. The party is presenting a large, gender-balanced, diverse and committed team on the eve of the election call.

No slogans, just solutions

The leader of Projet Montréal also unveiled his campaign slogan, “No slogans. Just solutions,” which puts forward a clear vision: to place the priorities and needs of Montrealers at the center of the campaign and propose realistic and effective measures to improve their daily lives. This choice reflects the team's desire to move beyond clichés and focus on the essentials: overcoming the housing crisis and homelessness, simplifying the city, developing a strong economy and making Montreal a resilient city in the face of climate change.

Several crises are currently coexisting in our society and Montreal is no exception. The population is expressing legitimate concerns about these considerable issues. Luc Rabouin and Projet Montréal favor creative and innovative approaches, collaborating with all Montreal stakeholders to develop concrete responses that benefit citizens and their city.

We are presenting Montrealers with a strong, experienced and renewed team. My team and I will use this campaign to propose solutions that address the concerns of the population. "I am running with Projet Montréal because I want to put my expertise in housing at the service of Montrealers. I have helped develop major non-profit student housing projects, particularly in the Sud-Ouest borough. My career has shown me how essential it is to protect affordability and create new off-market housing options. I am convinced that Projet Montréal and Luc Rabouin are best positioned to tackle housing challenges, as evidenced by the innovative solutions they have recently proposed. I am therefore very excited to join this team to build neighborhoods where everyone can find their place." — Élise Tanguay, candidate for city councilor, Saint-Paul–Émard–Saint-Henri-Ouest
