Chad Polito
Du Canal
Lachine
Chad Polito has chosen to make Lachine his family’s home. As the executive director of non-profit organizations and holding a master’s degree in non-profit management, he has dedicated his career to serving children, families, and seniors. With strong expertise in governance, partnerships, and community management, Chad has always put his leadership at the service of the common good.
Having lived in the borough for thirteen years with his wife and their two sons, he is deeply engaged in local life. Whether chatting with neighbors, enjoying the parks and sports fields, or walking the family dog along the waterfront, Chad is reminded every day of how municipal decisions directly shape quality of life. He is running for borough council to continue improving public services and to ensure that every neighborhood in Lachine benefits from concrete investments: in parks, infrastructure, senior services, and opportunities for youth.
For Chad, a strong community is built on listening, transparency, and citizen participation. He wants to represent Lachine residents with diligence and approachability, oversee the new sports complex, and ensure that this essential project is carried out in an exemplary way. He chose to join Projet Montréal to continue the transformation of Lachine begun under the leadership of Maja Vodanovic, anchored in clear values: equity, sustainability, and accessibility. His goal is simple: to build a welcoming, dynamic, and well-managed Lachine, where everyone can thrive and feel at home.

The Team
Lachine
Lachine is a vibrant community with a rich history dating back more than 350 years.
It is home to two iconic landmarks at the intersection of the rapids and Lake St-Louis, René-Lévesque Park and soon the new Grand Parc Riverain. Here, sports are a passion—there's something going on all year round! It also has a vibrant cultural life with world-class festivals and concerts. Lachine is proud to be home to the two best public and private high schools in the province. Our heritage and diversity enrich every street, every business, every encounter. Family-oriented and welcoming, the community retains its village spirit while enjoying direct access to major highways and downtown, making our industrial park one of the most sought-after in Quebec. In Lachine, we live close to people, close to the river and close to the action.
