Jax Jacobsen is a strategic communicator and journalist specializing in public policy, environment, and climate. With more than twenty years of international experience contributing to prestigious outlets such as Reuters, Forbes, CNN, The Guardian, and the Montreal Gazette, she has dedicated her career to making complex issues around climate, sustainability, and economic development accessible to the public. She holds a master’s degree in Political Science from McGill University and a diploma in science journalism from London.

In Outremont, she is actively involved as a member of the neighborhood roundtable and the Table de bon voisinage, where she helps strengthen community life and civic participation. Convinced that the climate crisis demands concrete and courageous action, she is now running to represent the Claude-Ryan district, putting her experience, energy, and expertise at the service of local residents.
