Catherine Houbart is a professional in environment, urban planning, and project management, with more than ten years of commitment to ecological transition and citizen participation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in ecology, a master’s degree in urban planning, and a graduate certificate in project management, and has developed strong expertise on issues such as climate change adaptation, sustainable stormwater management, mobility, and biodiversity.
As Executive Director of the Groupe de recommandations et d’actions pour un meilleur environnement (GRAME) for five years, she coordinated major initiatives aimed at building resilient and inclusive communities, working closely with elected officials and local residents.
A resident of Pointe-Saint-Charles for the past eight years and an active member of her housing cooperative, Catherine is deeply rooted in the Sud-Ouest. Known for her unifying leadership and innovative approach, she now wishes to put her experience and energy at the service of residents to build a greener, more inclusive, and human-scaled borough.
