Stefana Lamasanu has been putting her experience and commitment at the service of Verdun for over 13 years.
A former elected school commissioner and co-founder of the alternative school Les Saules-Rieurs, she has made concrete contributions to education and family life in her community. She has also been involved in food security projects in the borough.

Holder of a PhD in Communications, she co-founded during her studies the union of course lecturers and instructors at McGill University—an on-the-ground and team-based experience that taught her how to lead long-term projects with determination. Stefana is currently a Senior Advisor in Public Affairs within the federal public service.

A mother of two children raised in Verdun, Stefana wants to protect what makes her borough so special: a close-knit community, a unique quality of life along the waterfront, and a true “village” where people can grow up, live, and age together. Candidate for Borough Councillor in Desmarchais-Crawford, she hopes to put her listening skills and experience at the service of a Verdun that is more inclusive, greener, and more united.
