Maisonneuve-Longue Pointe
Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve
Jérôme Leclerc is the Coordinator of the Quebec Sustainable Health Action Network (RASDQ) and Project Manager for Health and Climate at the Quebec Public Health Association (ASPQ). In this role, he develops strategic projects, builds strong partnerships, and serves as a spokesperson on critical issues linking public health and climate change.
With a career marked by service and commitment, Jérôme has worked as a home care manager and clinical nurse at the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, where he supported citizens on a daily basis, particularly the most vulnerable. His experience with the Canadian Armed Forces, where he rose to the rank of Master Corporal, strengthened his ability to adapt, manage crises, and work as part of a team.
A natural and empathetic leader, Jérôme stands out for his expertise in project management, team leadership, and decision-making in complex contexts. His academic background—a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McGill and graduate studies in Health and Social Services Management at the ÉNAP—complements a rich professional journey rooted in Montréal’s realities.
Deeply involved with Projet Montréal, notably through his role on the Local Association Council (CoALA) in Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, he dedicates his energy to strengthening democratic life and defending the values of social justice, ecological transition, and sustainable health.
Convinced that health is our greatest wealth and that it is built within our neighborhoods, Jérôme seeks to put his experience and vision at the service of the citizens of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, with the goal of building a more resilient, inclusive, and human-scale Maisonneuve–Longue-Pointe.
