Suzie Miron
Tétreaultville
Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve
A proud resident of Tétreaultville, Suzie Miron has been involved in the community for over 25 years. Elected as a city councilor from 2017 to 2021, she also served as deputy mayor of the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough. Her municipal experience was further enhanced on the city's executive committee, where she was a councilor associated with infrastructure, water, and women's issues. She also had the honor of being appointed chair of the city council, a recognition of her rigor, sense of dialogue and citizen participation values.
After her term, she returned to Hydro-Québec, where she works for 26 years, in project control and recently as a manager in operationnal performance. She took the opportunity to devote more time to her family, especially her two grandsons, and to further her professional development by completing two university certificates in municipal services management and public services administration. She has continued her community involvement by serving on several neighborhood organization boards, and recently as president of the Centre Info-Femmes, which she helped through a period of restructuring. She is also co-founder of La Tétro, a socially responsible event cooperative that revitalizes the commercial artery of Tétreaultville.
A woman of heart, mind, and words, Suzie Miron wishes to return to serving her community to advance the projects that are close to her heart: structural investments in infrastructure and sports and community facilities, and a vibrant neighborhood where no one is left behind. She wants to continue building an inclusive, active, and supportive Tétreaultville, with the support of residents who share her vision.
