Roger Petit-Frère is a Chartered Administrator, educator, and community leader deeply rooted in Montréal-Nord. For more than twenty years, he has been committed to social development, governance, and community life in his borough. As Executive Director of the Centre Jean-Paul-Lemay since 2006, he has helped make it a leading organization in education and community services, while overseeing the acquisition and renovation of its facilities. A founding member and former president of L’ICI (the Organization for Integration, Citizenship and Inclusion), he has worked to welcome and support the integration of newcomers. His civic engagement extends to many organizations and roundtables, including the Montréal-Nord Neighborhood Roundtable, where he served for nearly a decade. A former political attaché and citizen journalist, he brings his expertise in governance, management, and mobilization to the service of his community. A proud representative of Montréal’s diversity, Roger Petit-Frère now seeks to make the Montréal-Nord borough mayoralty a driving force for building a more inclusive, united, and human-scale community.
