Janny Gaspard is a social entrepreneur and activist dedicated to inclusion and citizen participation. She holds a degree in political communication from Université de Montréal and a degree in the arts from Concordia University. She has put her expertise to work for several organizations and institutions, including Equal Voice, PME MTL Est-de-l’Île, and others.

Founder of Femme qui Fonce and Femmes Politiques au Canada, she has spent nearly a decade advancing women’s empowerment and representation in decision-making spheres. Deeply involved in her community, she sits on various boards of directors and contributes actively to the economic, social, and cultural vitality of eastern Montréal.

Recognized both nationally and internationally, Janny now wishes to put her experience and energy at the service of Anjou, with the goal of building a borough that is more inclusive, united, and forward-looking.
